March 4th - B Day

In the comments let me know three things and get extra credit towards your homework grade. That simple! Make sure to leave your name in the comments, I can’t give extra credit to “Anonymous”. Also let me know anything else that might be important like how the sub was with the class or anything else. I will get the subs side but I will hear you out. Or it could be that they were the greatest sub ever, who knows.

1 - What is something that you took away from today’s class? (“Hey, I didn’t know that”)
2 - How was your school day outside of this class? (“Really, you want to know”)
3 - What is a question you have after today’s class? (“Man I wish Mr. Landeros was here today he is so smart”)

1- I didn't know that people would willingly eat a burger spread with that much butter. It was like, "Hey, have some beef with that butter."

2- Hm...I'm about to go to work in a few minutes, and I have to walk. And I hate my job. But it's been an okay day so far. I eased my hamburger-viewing-sickness with a delicious soy/herb burger.

3- Man I just wished you were here today because you are so smart. Really the only question I have is how/where did you find a documentary like that???

Lauren, I have to agree that the butter burger is the most vile thing I have seen in my life. I would still eat it though. The experience of eating something like that would be worth the spike in blood pressure and cholesterol. A friend mentioned the documentary to me and I knew I had to have it.

1. I had no idea that there could be a hamburger as big as that one in the documentary...
2. So far I cannot find another job which sucks... i saw some pretty rad clothes at puma and i almost got in a car accident (but that happens almost daily).
3. Q:I wonder what Mr. Landeros did today?

ps. I really really need to share this with someone... Mr. Pennix the second looks ridiculously like a lemur (spelling?) I'm sorry! I know this is terrible to think. He was nice though.

Post two (for government)
1. I learned that I had a test today, but suprisely I did really well on it I think.
2. Again, the puma clothes, plus a bull dog harassed me.
3. i learned a lot about angela today... pretty awesome.

PEACE

Lexy, I have never enjoyed any retail job I've had in my life. It is a necessary evil to get through high school and college with out incurring a ridiculous amount of debt. I am pretty sure the hamburger documentary only solidified the reasons why you are a vegetarian.

The second time you seemed to have no problem with using your name to post. As I told Lauren I would eat the butter burger. I totally think food is an experience so I would eat it but I wouldn't like it. It would be an experience like eating something on Fear Factor is an experience. The last one with toast maker machine and cheese whiz is the one I would eat though.

PS

I am never going to be able to look at a burger again (even a soy/herb burger) without hearing banjos playing in my head. So thanks.

The Hamburger Documentary was probably the most entertaining thing that i did all day yesterday. i can not believe that there are people who think of these things. The one guy who makes the peanut butter hamburger was the nastiest nd he kinda reminded me of a 40 yr old hick...lol..kinda mean i kno. And that butter burger....wow...there is no thought in my head that would say..."HUmmmm Let me have one of those!!"...DISGUSTING!!!

wHAT DID I DO YESTERDAY??....FOLD SOME CLOTHES, WATCH TV. DID A LITTLE OF HOMEWORK....OOOO AND MY BESTIE GAVE ME THE SECOND SEASON OF HOUSE MD AND SO I WATCHED 8 EPISODES, COMMERCIAL FREE!!! YAYA

I DONT REALLY MIND THAT YOU WERE GONE. bUT IT WAS KINDA LAME. mR pENNIX IS KOOL BUT THE CLASS JUST ISENT THE SAME!!!

Hey Kayla, I almost forgot about the peanut butter burger. I really want to try it but I always want to try really gross things so I realize "Oh yeah thats why I shouldn't eat that because it tastes like crap." You are right the class isn't the same without me it is probably because Mr. Pennix is lame.

1. Something that I took away from the class was that Hamburgers are different depending on the area it comes from and the traditions that people have. It didn't matter if the hamburger they were eating was going to kill them, what mattered was their dedication to a local burger joint.

2. Something that I did yesterday was I did some homework, and had some food. after that I learned some more of my lines for the school play (which you should come to) and then I went to soccer practice as usual.

3. I missed you so much Mr. Landeros, class just wasn't the same. I was so lost without you. Mr. Pennix is cool but he was too quite, he should have talked more. ummm....I didn't really miss you that much.
