What- Hugo Chavez proposes referendum that ammends the constitution to allow the president to seek re-election indefinitely. That basically means that he can run for office as many times as he likes.
Why- This has the potentially to lead to a dictatorship in Venezuela.
Question-If the citizens of venezuela vote for the change democratically, then can their decision be questioned?
U.S. anti-drug information leaked to Mexico cartelsWho: Corrupt Officials inside Mexico’s security forces.
What: They leaked U.S. anti-drugs intelligence directly to drug traffickers. They are helping them escape raids.

Why: It doesn’t really say why they are leaking the information, but a recent infiltration of Mexican police forces had reached alarming levels.
